Memory mutation Series 2007~2010

The Memory Mutation series explores the fluid and transformative nature of memory, drawing on the theory that memories are not static but constantly evolving and reshaping over time. Influenced by emotions, external factors, and the passage of time, memories mutate, blending fragments of reality and imagination. This concept is visualized through hybrid figures—half-human, half-animal—symbolizing the fusion of past and present, conscious and subconscious. These surreal forms embody the layered, dynamic quality of memory, inviting viewers to reflect on how their own recollections are distorted and reimagined, forming unique and personal narratives.
