ARCHAEOLOGY Of MEMORY
The core framework of my work lies in the process of recombining fragments of time and space to create new memories. Human memory is constantly being reproduced, much like how the line between reality and illusion becomes increasingly blurred in modern society. These elements align with broader cultural and historical trends. Just as the Metaverse generates new memories by crafting alternative spaces and times, our recollections now transcend the traditional roles of our senses, transforming into videos, photos, and experiences within virtual realms. Memories have shifted from being personal collections to functioning as shared artifacts, akin to souvenirs in the era of social media and instant sharing. My work emerges from this dynamic boundary.
